New Starbeamer Pattern: Miniature Triceratops

June 20, 2017

Dinosaurs have always been creatures that I’ve enjoyed learning about. I would read Dinotopia and admire the beautiful art in James Gurney’s books. Because of this love, I decided to create dinosaur patterns.

It took a few tries to get it right, but I love this little guy.

May 9, 2017

Dragons and dinosaurs are some of my favorite creatures and I decided to revise my original pattern in order to make it more simple and more in line with the design of the mini dragon pictures.

New Starbeamer Pattern: Mini Hydra/Dragon/Dino Amigurumi/Plush Toy

March 31, 2014

I love mythological creatures and I wanted to do a more basic hydra pattern so I made the mini hydra. I thoroughly enjoyed making him and his little dragon buddy. He makes a perfect companion for a small child. I worked it up in as few pieces as possible, so if you make a 3 headed hydra, there are only 11 pieces.

Crochet Plush – Steggie the Tiny Stegosaurus with Pattern Link

October 13, 2009

My husband had a large blue stegosaurus  that his grandma crocheted for him when he was little. He saw me surfing the web for patterns, and when I stumbled on Steggie, a stegosaurus pattern, he begged me to make it for him. The pattern was quick and easy, and the end result was cute. I wasn’t experienced with invisible decreases, and my hook was a size too big, so there are holes in the dinosaur, but my husband loves it.
