Gift: Nerdy Crochet Hook Holder

March 24, 2015

I have started a new section of my business to help get it off of the ground. Creating patterns is not super profitable, so I needed something else to do between my day job and my patterns. I showed my work to my best friend and she requested one as her birthday gift. I allowed her to choose among the fabrics that I currently had and this is the result, a crochet hook holder that looks elegant on the outside, but when you unroll it, it reveals the nerdiness of the owner.

She loved it and I added a superhero line in in the holder section of my shop because of it.

New Starbeamer Pattern: Simple Isles Style Fair Isle Fingerless Gloves

January 10, 2014

To me, this pattern represents the simplicity of a flower or snow against the blue sky (depending on the colors chosen). Without individual fingers to knit, this pattern works up very quickly and makes a great gift.

You can purchase this pattern on Craftsy, Etsy, or Ravelry.

New Starbeamer Pattern: Ear Muff Covers (Wrap Around Style)

November 22, 2013

After getting sick and not being able to work on patterns, I am back with my first clothing pattern!

I needed something to keep my ear muffs clean, so I decided to make ear muff covers that I could use to change the color of the ear muffs. I wanted both crocheters and knitters to be able to do it so this pattern is sold with both the crochet version and knit version included! The knit pattern is less bulky and more comfortable and so I recommend that version, but both work. They also work up very quickly.

This pattern works for both the men’s and women’s sized wrap around ear muffs. 180 Degree is the brand shown in the images.

You can purchase this pattern on  Craftsy, or Ravelry.

New Starbeamer Pattern: Mini Cuttlefish!

October 8, 2013

Just as the larger Octopus needed his friends Squid and Cuttlefish, the mini Octopus needs a mini Squid and mini Cuttlefish to hang out with as well. The larger octopus has been my favorite pattern that I created to this point, but the mini cephalopod trio may just take that spot from it. I love all of them and I have had so much fun making these patterns. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

This pattern is purchasable on Craftsy, Etsy, or Ravelry.
