After my jaunt making gifts for others, I turned to make a gift for myself. Being in an amigurumi mood, I turned again to one of my favorite video game series, Mega Man. Bomb Man from MM1 was already made, and he needed an ally, but who to make? MM3 and 4 were among my favorites, but my favorite boss, Snake Man, seemed difficult to make. Then I had it! Pharaoh Man! He would require little customization of the Beary Jackson pattern, and would be perfect!
I tried various combinations of color for his arms until I was satisfied. Then I worked on his head and body. After, I created a yamaka-like patch for his hat, created a rim, shoulder pads, eyes, and a face mask. After putting those on, I added shoulder pads and then worked on his headdress details. He is a bit top-heavy, but he turned out perfect. What do you think?
